BOISE -- No charges will be filed in connection with an accidental shooting in Middleton that sent a 10-month-old boy to the hospital.
It happened in April at a house on Middleton Road, when the boy's three year old sister accidentally shot her brother in the cheek.
The two kids were alone in a car, when their mother had gone back into the house because she forgot something.
Investigators determined the handgun was placed under the seat by the boy's father a few days prior to the shooting.
The boy will likely need facial scar treatment and minor reconstructive surgery, but is expected to make a full recovery.
