BOISE -- The sister of a Nampa homicide victim found by police on Monday hopes someone will recognize his photo and come forward with information regarding her brother's death.
Police say 27-year-old James Groat of Nampa died after he was shot several times in the upper body by a medium-caliber handgun.
A passerby found Groat lying dead in a field near Lake Lowell on Monday morning.
Natalie Needham is Groat's sister.
Needham told KTVB that her family was hesitant to release any other information about the 27-year-old, but did say that he was loved very deeply.
Nampa Police say anyone with information about Groat's death should call Crime Stoppers at 343-COPS.
