STAR,Idaho -- Star Police and Kuna Police are looking for information after nearly a dozen vehicles were burglarized over the weekend.

Sometime between the hours of 10 p.m. Friday and 10 a.m. Saturday, multiple items were stolen from vehicles parked in a residential area near Floating Feather and Brandon in Star. All of the vehicles had been left unlocked. Items taken included purses, bags and electronics.

On Saturday, a pile of bags and backpacks was found dumped in the area of Homer Road and Park Lane in Eagle. The bags appeared to have been searched and any valuable items were taken. Deputies were able to identify the owners of several of the bags and return them.

In Kuna, three vehicles burglaries were reported to in the Greyhawk subdivision off of Hubbard Road overnight Friday. All of the vehicles were unlocked. At this time, loose change is the only property that has been reported as stolen.

Deputies are urging vehicle owners to take remove valuable items from their cars and trucks or to make sure they are hidden from view. Owners are also advised to lock their doors.

The investigation into the burglaries is ongoing. No arrests have been made at this time. Investigators are asking anyone with information about these burglaries and neighbors who see any suspicious activity in their area to call Ada County non-emergency dispatch at 377-6790.
