GARDEN CITY -- After a three-month investigation, police arrested a Garden City man for illegally selling drugs. Police say the man is also a felon who was in possession of a handgun and drug paraphernalia.

Police say 49-year-old West A. Trontvet was arrested Wednesday after a three-month investigation, where he was seen selling illegal drugs and pharmaceutical drugs from his house in the 300 block of Teena Street.

Investigators say a search of Trontvet's home turned up evidence of illegal drug sales and they also found a .45 caliber semi-automatic pistol in Trontvet's home.

Trontvet is being held in the Ada County Jail, and will be charged with delivery of a controlled substance-schedule II drug, delivery of a controlled substance-schedule IV drug, unlawful possession of a firearm as a convicted felon, and possession of drug paraphernalia.
