BOISE-- Yet another ghost bike will serve as a reminder to watch for cyclists after a young teen died last week in west Boise.
Olivia Schnacker, 13, was struck and injured by a car while riding her bike on Easter Sunday near West Ustick Road and Jullion Street. Schnacker died of her injuries at Saint Alphonsus Regional Medical Center on Tuesday, April 22.
A white-painted bike decorated with flowers now stands as a memorial where Olivia was injured.
A cardboard sign on the bike reads R.I.P. Olivia. Watch for cyclists.
Police have not yet said whether the unnamed driver who struck Schnacker will face charges.
Officers continue to investigate.
