BOISE -- A big helping of fresh snow this week has prompted Bogus Basin to extend their season for a second time.
The resort announced a new closing date of Sunday, April 13.
To date, Bogus has received 99 inches of snow, with 23 inches just in the last week, mountain officials said.
The original closing date was March 30, but was postponed last week thanks to good spring skiing conditions. After all the snowfall this week, they delayed it once again to give skiers and snowboarders a little more time to enjoy the mountain.
Bogus is planning a number of end of season events, including live music, for their last two weekends.
