BOISE -- Some Hidden Springs teenagers gathered together to help clean up after acts of vandalism in their community.

Ada County Sheriff's Deputies have identified those responsible and they've agreed to pay for the damages and complete community service. But graffiti on doors and buildings left the community with an ugly scar. So some local teens helped clean up the vandalism and kick the negative impression left.

Cleanup coordinator Brycen Deka said it was a good way to give back to the community. There was this negative view of the teenagers. So we just wanted to counter-act that and show that a lot of teenagers want to help the community and respect it.

Those with the cleanup say the whole community was really responsive and positive towards the clean up.
