BOISE -- The newest members of the Zoo Boise family are two serval kittens.

Servals are small spotted cats from Africa. One male and one female, were born last week.

Shortly after giving birth, the serval mother was not caring for the kittens properly, so zoo staff pulled them off the exhibit and have been hand-raising them since.

Beginning Saturday, visitors will be able to view the kittens in their incubator at the zoo. The servals will be on display in the Simplot Education Center.
