SEATTLE -- The man who replaced Osama Bin Laden on the FBI's 10 Most Wanted Fugitives list may be hiding out in Washington state.
Eric Justin Toth is a suspected child pornographer who has been on the run since fleeing the Washington, D.C. area back in 2008. At the time, he was a third grade teacher at a private school. Police said a colleague found child porn pictures on his camera and told authorities.
FBIin Seattle now report Toth may have traveled through Washington state in the last year and may even be here now.
Agents did not say how or why they believe Toth may have visited Washington.
Described as a computer expert active in social media, investigators have tracked Toth to Illinois, Indiana, Wisconsin, Arizona and Minnesota over the last few years. His abandoned car was found with a fake suicide note at the Minneapolis-St. Paul Airport months after his disappearance.
Agents said Toth may be posing as a tutor or nanny in advertisements online.
He has been known to use the alias David Bussone.
Toth is 6-foot-3, 155 pounds with brown hair and green eyes. He has a mole under his left eye. Agents warn he can easily change his appearance and blend into surroundings.
The FBI is offering a reward of $100,000 for information that leads to an arrest.
There is no comparison to be made between Toth and bin Laden, FBI Supervisory Special Agent Jacqueline Maguire told CNN. Although Eric Toth has not murdered anyone and he is not an international terrorist, that does not mean he isn't dangerous.
