BOISE-- No one was injured in a head-on crash in downtown Boise Thursday morning, but the collision backed up traffic moving onto the Connector for about an hour.
Two lanes of traffic on Front Street just past the 9th Street intersection were shut down immediately after the wreck which occurred just after 9 a.m., forcing early-morning commuters to jostle to merge into the two rightmost lanes.
Front Street has since been reopened.
A white SUV with heavy front-end damage and a black truck struck each other head-on, according to an Ada County dispatcher.
Although an ambulance was called out to the scene, there were no serious injuries and no one had to be transported to the hospital, dispatchers say.
