BOISE -- The American Center for Law and Justice is reporting that Boise pastor Saaed Abedini has been moved to a brutal prison where he faces life-threatening conditions.
The ACLJ says a family member went to visit Saaed for a regular weekly visit in the Iranian capital of Tehran. The family member reportedly discovered Abedini had been moved to the infamous Rajai Shahr Prison where political dissidents are known to be kept.
At this new prison Abedini is not allowed any visitors.
In September, President Obama called on the Iranian President to release Pastor Saeed.
Abedini's family maintains that he was imprisoned because of his Christian faith.
Family members encourage supporters to sign the petition to free Abedini here.
