BOISE -- Zoo Boise employees are busy getting ready for their annual Zoo Daze event. This year's theme is all about dinosaurs.

On Saturday, June 21 people of all ages are invited to visit the zoo for a wide array of events and special guests.

Dr. Dino will be showing children and families some rare dinosaur bones and artifacts.

Zoo Daze visitors will also have the chance to get up close and personal with some prehistoric animatronic creatures.

Admission Prices:

  • Adults: $10.00
  • Seniors: $8.00
  • Child 3-11: $7.00
  • 2 & under: Free
  • Friends of Zoo Boise annual pass holders: Free with valid pass and ID.

Zoo employees say proceeds from Saturday's event will help bring new exhibits to the zoo and update current ones.

Zoo Daze will feature face painting, animal exhibitions and other special events. Visitors can also check out the Butterflies in Bloom exhibit and Wallaby Walkabout.
