TWIN FALLS -- A south-central Idaho judge entered a not guilty plea for a 22-year-old Twin Falls man charged with first-degree murder.

The Times-News reports that 5th District Judge Richard Bevan entered the plea on behalf of Bradley Frank James after James on Friday opted not to enter a plea.

James is charged in the Dec. 12 death of 58-year-old Larry R. Miller of Filer.

Authorities say James told an acquaintance he took a knife and gun to Miller's house to confront him about mistreating a friend of a friend.

James is being held without bond in the Twin Falls County Jail.
