BEND, Oregon -- A 62-year-old Boise man is behind bars after Oregon State Police say they found nearly 12 pounds of marijuana in his vehicle during a traffic stop Monday.
Officers say Bradley Dewey Dean was stopped just before 3 p.m. on State Highway 20 for speeding.
They say a subsequent search of his car turned up the large amount of pot.
Dean was taken into custody without incident on felony charges for unlawful possession and delivery of a controlled substance.
He's currently in the Deschutes County Jail.
The marijuana is valued at $30,000.
