BOISE -- KTVB is overwhelmed by the amount of support the community showed during 7Cares Day last weekend.

Thousands of donations, from food to money and clothes to toys poured in to help local families.

This year, thanks to the community's generosity, more than 64,255 pounds of food was raised and will provide an estimated 49,554 meals. The cash, check, coin and text donations totalled $68,539.18 providing another 47,977 meals.

Together the food and cash will provide nearly100,000 meals to those in the community.

These donations will be split between the Boise Rescue Mission, Jubilee House, Idaho Food Bank, and The Salvation Army and will help thousands ofIdahoans this holiday season.

Thank you for your support and for taking part in 7CaresDay.
