BOISE -- Tamarack Resort's owner says he's selected a buyer.
Jean-Pierre Boespflug said Tuesday he plans to announce a buyer for the failed central Idaho vacation development on Wednesday morning.
There are at least three offers, including one from an Idaho group, Green Valley Holdings, for $40 million, and another $42 million offer from a real-estate company in Salt Lake City.
In federal bankruptcy court documents, Boespflug has also requested the judge's permission to hire a lawyer to oversee the sale transaction.
Boespflug's troubled resort is in Chapter 11 reorganization, so U.S. Bankruptcy Judge Terry Myers holds sway over a final transaction.
Myers has yet to publish a decision on a motion from the biggest creditor, a Credit Suisse Group-led lender syndicate, to return Tamarack to a court where it could be liquidated.
