BOISE -- Pizza Huts across the Pacific Northwest, including some in Idaho are donating 50 percent of sales Wednesday and Thursday to the American Red Cross. The fundraiser includes take-out, delivery and dine-in.
The money will be used to help with relief efforts in the Washington State mudslide. The Pizza Hut closest to the slide, in Smokey Point, Wash. says they'll donate 100 percent of proceeds.
In Oso, Wash., crews are still working their way through the debris field, where the death toll now stands at 28.The Snohomish County medical examiner says 22 of those victims have been identified. Searchers are trying to salvage what they can to help families move forward.
Across the Pacific Northwest 108 Pizza Huts are taking part in the fundraiser. If you want to help out call your local restaurant to see if they're participating.
