BOISE -- Governor Butch Otter's State of the State address is just a few days away, and he's expected to outline plans for the upcoming legislative session at an event in Boise Friday.
Gov. Otter is scheduled to speak to members of the media at 9:30 a.m.
During the annual legislative preview hosted by the Associated Press, the governor usually discusses what he wants to see lawmakers accomplish in the session.
He should also give insight into some major themes of the State of the State Address he'll deliver next week.
Lawmakers will also be at the legislative preview to talk about their priorities for the session.
The 2014 legislative session starts on Monday, January 6. Otter is scheduled to give his State of the State address at 1:00 p.m.
