BOISE -- Police hope photos taken from surveillance video will help them identify and track down the person who stole an ATM.

The theft occurred just after 2:30 a.m. Tuesday at the Like-Nu Car Wash on South Latah Street.

That same morning, an ATM at the Idaho Central Credit Union on West Fairview Avenue was damaged, but not stolen.

On Thursday, detectives released photos of the crime in hopes that someone will recognize the logo on the suspect's sweatshirt or other details that could help identify him.

The photos show the thief using a metal bar to pry the ATM from the wall.

Anyone with information on the suspect or the crime is asked to call Crime Stoppers at 343-COPS.
