EAGLE -- Fly-fishermen were seen Saturday at Eagle Island State Park, showing off their best casts as part of an event hosted by Trout Unlimited.

The event has a competition involving a variety of different fly-casting tests.

This is a regional competition representing Trout Unlimited's Ted Trueblood chapter.

Some of the better casters that are out here are taking it very serious. They have been practicing for the last couple of months. In fact, two of the teams that are out here are previous winners, said Pat Kilroy, Co-Chair of the Trout Unlimited Casting Tournament.
