BOISE Ada County officials announced today that the Boise River will be open to floaters starting Wednesday, June 18.

Epley s will begin renting rafts and tubes for the start of the summer float season that day.

The shuttle service from Ann Morrison Park to Barber Park will also be available to the public.

Members of the Boise Fire Department were out recently clearing debris from the river to make the water safer for all users.

A spokesman for Ada County says flows on the Boise River are increasing this week and officials hope the increased flows will help clear out any remaining debris that firefighters could not remove.
