EAGLE-- Police in Eagle are on the lookout for the female driver of a vehicle involved in a hit-and-run accident in downtown Eagle this afternoon.

The accident happened around 1 p.m. near Eagle Road and State Street.

Police say a four-door white passenger car was in the eastbound lane of State Street and collided with a Honda Accord, and then took off. The driver is said to be a woman in her mid to late 30s, with blonde hair.

The driver of the Honda, a woman in her 30s, was injured and transported to a local hospital with non-life threatening injuries.

Anyone who sees a small white car with front end damage in that area is urged to call Ada County at 377-6790.
