In the past week, the average price for a gallon of gas has dropped 5 cents in Idaho to $3.60.

The national average is $3.36 per gallon.

Analysts say refiners have been passing on lower wholesale gas prices over the past four weeks, resulting in cheaper gas at the pump.

The AAA auto club reports the average price of a gallon of gasoline in Oregon is $3.50. That's down a nickel in a week and 20 cents in a month, but still higher than the national average.

The average price of a gallon of gasoline in Washington is $3.53. That's down a nickel in a week and 22 cents in a month.
