BOISE -- Two Boise women are charged in connection with a robbery at the Jacksons Chevron at 25th and Fairview Avenue Thursday night.

Katlin M. Hoffman, 26, and Jade A. Wake, 29, are in the Ada County Jail on felony robbery and accessory to robbery charges.

Police say Hoffman walked into the store and demanded cash just before 9 p.m. Officers say she spoke to the store clerk and implied she had a weapon. The 26-year-old then allegedly left the scene with an undisclosed amount of cash. Witnesses say she was driving a Subaru with a bike rack.

Wake is accused of helping Hoffman commit the crime.

Police say they spotted Hoffman at a different convenience store later in the night, questioned her, and found evidence that linked both women to the robbery.

Officers were apparently able to identify Hoffman as a suspect due to the description of the Subaru and bike rack.
