BOISE -- The Ada County Elections Office held its last big equipment test Thursday before Tuesday's vote.

Election officials say everything worked fine, and that now the room will be locked until the election.

The elections office will also be rolling out a pilot program this election involving laptops in the Eagle area.

After a problem in November when some people got the wrong ballots, this system will tell poll workers exactly what ballot voters should get.

Streets are often the boundaries between districts and between precincts. So one person on one side of the street gets one ballot. The other person on the other side of the street gets another ballot. It's confusing to everybody in the process. We have to make sure that we get the right ballot to each right voter, said Chief Deputy Clerk Phil McGrane.

Election Day is May 21st. For more on the election check out our voter guide.
