FEATHERVILLE, Idaho -- Living and working in Feartherville in the past 10 months has not been easy after last year's devastating fire, followed by a near drought-like snow season. It was the worst combination for an area that relies on recreational visitors.

Cyndie and Pat Christensen of Cyndie's Featherville Cafe made national news with their determination to ride out the fire last year even during the evacuation order.

And now, nearly one year later, they told KTVB how a life-changing and horrible event, has brought something very positive to their community.
