BOISE -- Approximately 376 Boise homes now have power after an early morning equipment failure left them in the dark for nearly three hours.

Idaho Power reports the outage happened near Franklin and Maple Grove roads just after 5:30 a.m.

Spokesperson Lynette Berrichoa says a loose wire came unattached, causing the equipment failure.

The power was restored shortly after 8 a.m.
