MERIDIAN, Idaho -- Three members of a Boise family were hurt and taken to the hospital when their car rolled over on the Interstate 84 eastbound exit ramp at Eagle Road around 3:30 a.m. Tuesday.

Idaho State Police say 23-year-old Usiel Rios was driving a blue 2001 Ford Focus when he lost control of the car on the off ramp and rolled off the right shoulder.

Police say his 34-year-old wife Araceli Brito-Cardoso and their one-year-old daughter Maria Rios-Cardoso were in the back seat, but were unrestrained and ejected from the car. Usiel was not ejected from the vehicle. All three were transported to St. Alphonsus Regional Medical Center with non-life threatening injuries.

Usiel and Maria were treated and released from the hospital; while Araceli remains in the hospital with moderate injuries.

Police say Araceli was not wearing a seatbelt and Maria was not in a child safety restraint.

Idaho State Police were assisted by the Meridian Police Department and Ada County Fire and Paramedics.

Police say alcohol may be a factor in the crash, which is still under investigation.
