BOISE -- Idaho State Police says a 46-year-old mother died in a rollover crash near King Hill Saturday morning.

Officials say Maria Salazar of King Hill was traveling eastbound on Old U.S. Highway 30, while Vincent Porter, 96, of King Hill was going south on Montgomery Road. Porter turned left onto Old U.S. 30 hitting the back of Salazar's Trailblazer, causing the Trailblazer to slide sideways and roll. Both Salazar and her 9-year-old daughter were thrown from the SUV.

ISP says Salazer died at the scene, and her daughter was transported to St. Alphonsus Regional Medical Center in Boise, before she was taken to St. Luke's in Boise.

Porter was taken to Elmore Medical Center by ambulance.

Officials say Salazer and her daughter were not wearing seat belts, while Porter was wearing his.

The condition of Porter and the 9-year-old girl is unknown at this time.
