BOISE -- Firefighters rescued a motorcyclist who veered off Bogus Basin Road and crashed about 50 feet down an embankment Sunday afternoon.

The wreck happened at about 3:45 p.m. near milepost 4.

A deputy on scene said the man was riding with a group of other motorcyclists when he lost control and went off the road.

It took emergency crews about an hour to secure the man to a stretcher and pull him up the hill to a waiting ambulance.

The man's condition has not been released, but his injuries are not believed to be life-threatening.
