BOISE - A Boise woman is behind bars after police say she hit a motorcycle with her car, seriously injuring the rider.
Karen Marie Noyes, 54, was arrested late Wednesday night. Police say she had been drinking before she climbed behind the wheel and plowed into the motorcycle in the intersection of State Street and Ellens Ferry Drive.
The motorcycle rider was not wearing a helmet, and was badly hurt in the crash. He was taken by ambulance to a local hospital. Police have not released his current condition.
Noyes was arrested and booked into the Ada County Jail. She has been charged with felony aggravated DUI, and is set to appear in court Thursday afternoon.
