BOISE - Four people were injured in an Eagle Road crash Tuesday night when a Boise man drove over a concrete barrier.

Idaho State Police say 20-year-old Kerry King was headed southbound on Eagle Road near East Lanark Street at about 10 p.m. when he tried to make a U-turn by driving over the center barriers.

As King's Chevrolet Cavalier entered the northbound lanes, it was struck by a northbound Dodge Neon driven by 28-year-old Shane Hill of Emmett. Although both drivers and their passengers were wearing seatbelts, all four were injured, police say.

King and his passenger, 20-year-old Shanti Bailey of Meridian, were taken by ambulance to Saint Alphonsus Regional Medical Center in Boise. Hill and his passenger, 25-year-old Darcie Hill, were transported to St. Luke's Medical Center in Meridian.

King is listed in critical condition, and Bailey was in serious condition Wednesday morning.

Northbound lanes on Eagle Road were closed until about midnight as crews worked to remove debris from the scene. The crash remains under investigation.
