POST FALLS, Idaho -- Police in Post Falls say a couple that went missing Sunday has been found after spending a night stranded in their pickup in the snow.
The couple, Ray and Suzi Koep, is back home and doing well. They are 70 and 66 years old.
The couple called family as soon as they were within cell phone service Monday afternoon.
They been driving near Avery, Idaho on a road to St. Regis, Montana when their car became stuck and high centered on some snow, according to police. The couple spent the night in their Chevy Silverado and were able to dig themselves out Monday morning.
Relatives said the couple may have gone to Shoshone County because they like to take drives on river roads.
