NAMPA -- Windy weather nearly delayed a major piece of construction at the Northwest Nazarene University campus in Nampa Tuesday.

However, later in the day crews were eventually able to install the top of the bell tower on its new Leah Peterson Learning Commons.

The 3-ton installation will play hymns, chime on the hour and play seasonal melodies.

The new building will serve as a library and study center, as well as other services for the university.

Construction should be complete in August.
