MERIDIAN -- The Meridian Police Department staged a full blown crime scene Saturday for civilians.
The demonstration was held at the Forward Movement Training Center that features a 5 bedroom house and mock bank for tactical training. Saturday's event started with a SWAT demonstration and also included blood splatter analysis, bullet trajectory and latent print processing.
About 18 civilians came out to learn about crime scene investigation. Owner of the Forward Movement Training Center, Christen Schneider said the program gives civilians insight into the investigation process. Our training is really reality based training. We make it as real as possible. And that goes for all the training here, we do really interactive training.
