BOISE -- Just before noon Thursday the power went out in Boise for about a half hour.

Idaho Power says it affected 339 customers from Grove Street to Julia Davis Park and from Broadway Avenue to Capitol Boulevard.

Officials say a goose caused power lines to go down at 3rd and Myrtle.

Several traffic lights were out, but most are now back up and running. Police are directing traffic at the intersection of 3rd and Myrtle.
