BOISE -- Jacksons Food Stores brought in over $161,000 in four states to help in the fight against domestic violence.

In the 10th anniversary of the Give the Gift of Peace campaign, Jacksons Food Stores and its customers donated the money from Thanksgiving through Christmas Day.

We use money to help support our programs when they reach out to us for direct victim services, said Rebecca Lovelace, Idaho Coalition Against Sexual & Domestic Violence.

This donation marks the highest level of contribution in the program's history.
