IDAHO FALLS -- A 53-year-old Idaho man was sentenced to 15 years in prison after being convicted of lewd conduct with a minor.
The Post Register reports Kim Day of Shelley was sentenced Monday after being found guilty last week by a jury.
It's the second time a jury has convicted him in the case in which he was accused of molesting a child in 2007 and 2008.
The first conviction was thrown out by the Idaho Supreme Court.
Now, Day could be eligible for parole after five years.
Day spoke in court, saying he knew his victim and would give her a hug if he saw her.
He maintained his innocence.
Prosecutors said if Day won't take responsibility, he's not treatable.
Previously, he's been convicted of three felony grand theft charges.
