BOISE -- Ada County officials have ruled the death of a man found in a burned home last week a suicide.

Police originally treated the case as suspicious, but an autopsy and further investigation has confirmed the man died of a self-inflicted gunshot wound after setting the fire to his home.

The Ada County Sherrif's Office says they don't believe anyone else was involved.

If someone you know needs help one place to start is the Idaho Suicide Prevention Hotline. The number is 1-800-273-TALK (8255).
