BOISE -- A Treasure Valley couple is facing felony burglary charges in connection with two break-ins at a Star home.

Ada County Sheriff's deputies say they caught 35-year-old Braan Anderson and 23-year-old Michala Shuman inside a Star home Sunday night that had been broken into earlier in the week.

Detectives began their investigation on Oct. 13 after getting a call reporting a break-in at a home on Star Road. The owner had been away for several days and returned to find the house ransacked.

Since the homeowner had to leave again, deputies kept an eye on the home and discovered people inside the home again on Sunday. That's when Anderson and Shuman were arrested.

Detectives were able to recover many of the items stolen from inside the home, including six guns, but they are still looking for several pieces of jewelry.

Detectives are also working with Boise Police to determine if Anderson is connected to the break-in of a different home in east Boise.

Anyone with information should call Crime Stoppers at 343-2677.
