BOISE -- Nutrition services workers with the Nampa School district might not have their jobs cut after all.

The district had considered outsourcing nutrition services to help shore up a $5 million budget deficit.

However, the administration announced Friday that they have looked over the numbers and found that contracting out nutrition services would provide no real direct savings for the district.

The district will now recommend the school board reject those plans at a special board meeting on May 7 at 7:00 p.m. in the Nampa High School Little Theater.
