CALDWELL -- A Caldwell man faces charges after deputies found 30 dogs living in poor conditions in his home and marijuana.

On Thursday afternoon, deputies got a tip from someone concerned about animals living in a home off Orchard Avenue in Caldwell.

When they got to the home they say they found 30 malnourished dogs.

Sixty-five-year-old Jerry Krebs faces 30 counts of animal cruelty.

Investigators say he may also face felony drug charges after they found marijuana growing on his property.

Krebs was arrested Friday afternoon.

Deputies removed all 30 dogs from the home and took them to a veterinarian.
