BOISE -- Police say a 71-year-old Boise man who disappeared early Friday morning has been found safe in Nevada. The area senior was last seen in a group home before he suddenly went missing.
Authorities report 71-year-old Clarence Owsley is currently in the custody of the Humbolt County Sheriff's Office and is awaiting the arrival of family members.
Investigators entered Owsley into a national crime information computer, which is how police in Nevada knew he was missing, said Boise Police spokeswoman Lynn Hightower.
Owsley was reported missing from his group home early Friday morning. He was thought to be in danger because he had left the home without several of his medications.
It's not known at this point how Owsley ended up in Nevada.
