BOISE -- Idaho Fish and Game say the search for a mountain lion on the Boise Greenbelt continues a week after it was first spotted in the area.

Fish and game officials say they have a tranquilizer gun ready to respond, but so far, the mountain lion has been long gone before they're able to get on scene.

Several sighting have led police to believe there could be more than one mountain lion.

Parents are cautioned to keep small children and pets close by when using the Greenbelt.
