BOISE -- Police say a 22-year-old Boise woman is accused of stealing 25 firearms from the home of an acquaintance sometime last week.

22-year-old Breana C. Chadwell was arrested Monday afternoon and charged with 25 counts of felony grand theft, along with 5 counts of felony burglary.

Boise Police say the value of the firearms she allegedly stole was more than $20,000.

Detectives say the guns were reported stolen sometime last week. They also say the victim in the theft provided officers with a detailed list of the firearms stolen.

Investigators used that list to identify a stolen firearm that was later pawned at a local business.

Police say an employee of the pawn business became suspicious of the sale and called police. They were able to locate Chadwell using information provided by the employee.

Chadwell is currently in the Ada County Jail. Police say they've recovered all the stolen weapons Chadwell allegedly pawned.
