CALDWELL -- A Nampa man accused in a murder-for-hire scheme is now on trial.

Prosecutors in Canyon County say 45-year-old Lorenzo Corral offered Jose de Jesus Rodriguez $5,000 to help him kill a man who was dating Corral's ex-girlfriend.

Rodriguez has already pleaded guilty in this case, and will spend at least four years in prison.

Corral denies knowing about the plot.

He could face life in prison if convicted.
