COEUR d'ALENE, Idaho -- A jury has found two Coeur d'Alene brothers guilty of felony charges related to a hate crime in which they were accused of threatening a Hispanic man.

The jury found William M. Tankovich Jr. and Frank J. Tankovich guilty Thursday of felony counts of conspiracy to commit malicious harassment and malicious harassment.

The Coeur d'Alene Press reports that sentencing is scheduled for Jan. 13.

Prosecutors alleged the brothers had used a racial slur in threatening a Hispanic man in a confrontation with weapons outside his Coeur d'Alene house in August 2009.

A third brother, Ira Tankovich, was convicted of conspiracy to commit disturbing the peace in April. That jury in that trial was deadlocked on the charges against William and Frank Tankovich.
