BOISE - A Boise man is behind bars after police say he tried to run another vehicle off the road in an apparent case of road rage.
Khurishan Dursunov, 22, was arrested Saturday night after the victims called police to report a man had slammed into their vehicle with his car and attempted to force them off the road near South Cole and West Overland roads. The victims and Dursunov know each other.
Officers stopped Dursunov's car a short distance away from where the incident occurred, with damage that appeared to match the damage on the victims' car. The car was searched after a drug dog alerted on it.
Drug paraphernalia and a small amount of marijuana were found inside the car. Officers also learned there was a warrant out for Dursunov. He was arrested and booked into the Ada County Jail.
Dursunov was charged with felony aggravated assault, as well as misdemeanors for possession of marijuana, possession of paraphernalia, driving without privileges and failure to appear. He is due to appear in court Monday afternoon.
