BOISE - A Boise man is facing felony charges after police say he attempted to run over a trio of people standing on a lawn, injuring one.

Jerry Charles Keeley, 56, was arrested Saturday afternoon after the attack near West Canal Street and West Victory Road.

Witnesses told police Keeley had swerved over the sidewalk and onto the grass in an attempt to hit people standing there. One person was struck, and suffered minor injuries.

The witnesses said the suspect drove away, heading toward Vista Avenue. Officers found Keeley, who they say had been involved in an ongoing dispute with the three victims.

As police investigated, they discovered Keeley was also in possession of methamphetamine. He was arrested and booked into the Ada County Jail.

Keeley has been charged with four felonies: Two counts of aggravated assault, one count of aggravated battery, and one count of possession of methamphetamine.
