BOISE For the second time in the less than a week, security officers at the Boise Airport have confiscated a loaded gun from a passenger.
A spokesperson for the Transportation Security Administration says a CZ 70 pistol loaded with 10 rounds was found in a carry-on bag at the security checkpoint Tuesday morning.
The passenger, who was headed to San Francisco, was cited on a state charge, and could also face a civil penalty.
This was the fifth firearm confiscated at the Boise Airport this year.
TSA officials want to remind the public that you can legally travel with a gun, but you must unload it, declare it, lock it in a hard-sided case and check it.
